Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully the rights and obligations of Pineapple Tours, which will be immediately valid when starting any of our services. After the Pineapple Tours confirm your reservation, the contract will be automatically made between Pineapple Tours and the Client, based on the terms and conditions mentioned below.

 

  1. Reservations

All rates are in Euros.

When making a reservation, please make sure you include the following information in the email: number of people to participate in the excursion, date, email, contacts, which excursions they would like to attend and, if need be, any special requests.

Once the service is started, the customer will accept the terms and conditions, without exception.

Pineapple Tours will not be responsible for incorrect email addresses or for inability to deliver the email.

If your reservation confirmation is not delivered, you should ask us to send it back with the confirmations of the reservation already paid by you.

All bookings made via the internet will be confirmed by email.

 

  1. Insurance

All our activities and passengers will be covered by the mandatory civil liability insurance in force.

We will not be responsible for any damages or losses caused to the Client when he participates in any activity outside our circuits.

We do not accept any responsibility for theft, loss or damage of personal belongings at any time of our tours.

 

  1. Cancellations

The cancellation of your reservation must be made by email and sent to  Pineapple Tours.

 

  1. Changes made by Pineapple Tours.

We reserve the right to change any of our itineraries at any time and to our description according to unforeseen circumstances.

As professionals we are, we will avoid to the maximum that this change happens but, if necessary, we will replace with alternative itineraries and with the same monetary value.

 

After confirmation of the reservation requested, all information will be sent to you as soon as possible.

Pineapple Tours reserves the right to cancel the whole tour or part of it, in case of extreme weather conditions, bad weather warnings, natural disasters, strikes or civil strife, terrorist activity, fire, flood and similar conditions.

We are constantly striving to make our tours even better, so we can include any attractions that may be available to further enrich our tours and Customers.

We reserve the right to change our rates at any time, however, the rate will be maintained on all reservations already confirmed.

Potential Customers should understand that it is not guaranteed that our vehicles can be decorated with Pineapple Tours.

In case our fleet is not large enough to accommodate all our passengers, Pineapple Tours reserves the right to hire vehicles with similar characteristics and accompanied by guides from Pineapple Tours .

This situation will be avoided to the maximum by us.

 

We reserve the right to change any of our advertising leaflets at any time.

 

  1. Traveling

Our Clients will be invited to show respect for the different types of customs existing in the Azores.

If you do not accept this request you may be asked to leave the tour without any right to a refund.

It will be our representative / guide to decide the cancellation of your tour and this decision will be final.

Your Guide may need to make a decision for Customer’s safety.

This is a condition of our reservations that the Customer must accept and obey, otherwise we may refuse continuity on the tour.

In this case you will not be entitled to any refund.

It is the Customer’s responsibility to be on the local previously set.

Due to the nature of the service Pineapple Tours is not responsible if you have to leave or arrive later than planned.

Pineapple Tours will make the possible so that all departures and arrivals are made on time.

Pineapple Tours can use any photo/video takin during the tours.

 

  1. Meeting points

All tours start in your accommodation, except for extraordinary tours, these should start on local previously set.

In this case the Customer will be responsible for being present at the place.

Our customers’ pick up has an approximate time that will be dependent on traffic congestion.

 

  1. Your Obligations and Responsibilities

The Client shall inform in writing any physical condition or medication to which he may be subject.

By reserving our services you are accepting all responsibility for any damage or loss caused by the Customer.

Full payment for any loss or damage will be paid on the spot directly to our representative / guide.

In case of refusal, Customer will be responsible for meeting all claims (including legal costs) as a result of its actions.

 

  1. Complaints

In the event that the Customer wishes to submit a complaint, you may request directly from the driver’s guide or you may contact us to provide you with our complaint book.

 

  1. Climatic Conditions

Under no circumstances Pineapple Tours can be held responsible for the weather conditions that may possibly condition the itinerary of the tour.

Due to weather conditions, we may have to cancel the scheduled tour, informing Customers in a timely manner of this situation.

 

  1. Smoking Policy

We do not allow smoking in our vehicles.
